Distribution in Armenia
Altitudes: Araks basin: 375-1800 m above sea level. Kura basin: 375-1000 m. a.s.l.
Regions: Araks basin: Shirak, Armavir, Aragatsotn,Yerevan, Kotayk, Ararat, Vayots Dzor, Syunik. Kura basin: Tawoush, Lory.
Habitats: Rocklands covered by phryganoid vegetation vegetation, stony steppes, stony semideserts, tugaiyan woodlands, arabble land.
Areal type: Anatolian-Precaspian.

Global distribution:

Food: lizards, snakes, birds, small mammals

Enemies: snakes: birds, foxes, vulfs, cats, dogs, man
Trend: No objective data available (presumably threatened)
